A Gentle Welcome to 2026 at Prime Mon Ami
Welcome to 2026 — a gentle welcome to 2026 shaped by intention rather than fireworks or resolutions.
This year feels like an invitation to live a little more slowly, to pay attention to what matters, and to move through change with steadiness rather than urgency. That’s the spirit I’m bringing into 2026 — and the one that will guide Prime Mon Ami in the months ahead.
If you’re new here, I’m truly glad you found your way to this space. And if you’ve been reading along for a while, thank you for being here. This blog has grown alongside my life, and this year feels like a meaningful next chapter.
Why This Year Feels Different
2026 will be a year of transition for my family and me. We’re preparing for a move from New Jersey to North Carolina — a change filled with excitement, emotion, and thoughtful pacing. While our new home may be ready earlier in the year, we’re choosing to wait until summer to fully move, allowing the kids to finish the school year surrounded by what’s familiar.
There are big milestones unfolding alongside that move. My daughter, Daniela, will be starting college, and my son, Jeremy, will be finishing his senior year of high school — navigating these moments while adjusting to a new state and new routines.
It’s a season that’s teaching me this: meaningful change doesn’t have to be rushed. It can be approached gently, with care for the people and rhythms that matter most.
What’s Grounding Me Right Now
Over the past year, I’ve spent time doing quiet inner work — the kind that doesn’t announce itself loudly but reshapes how you respond to everyday life. Mornings, in particular, have become an anchor for me.
Most days begin with a couple of glasses of water, a walk with our dogs, and a few minutes writing in my gratitude journal and daily affirmations. I enjoy a cup of coffee — and lately, more tea — letting the house stay calm before the day begins. For more, go to: 9 Evening Self Care Rituals for Darker Fall Nights to Relax and Recharge.
This small routine has changed a lot. I feel more emotionally steady, less reactive, and better able to let plans unfold without needing to control every outcome. That sense of steadiness is something I’m carrying into the year ahead.

How Prime Mon Ami Is Evolving in 2026
As my life has shifted, Prime Mon Ami has evolved with me. In 2026, this space will continue to focus on living well — not perfectly, and not in a way that adds pressure.
Here, you’ll find thoughtful posts centered on:
- Hormone-smart living and gentle self-care (more to come on: Essential Guide to Perimenopause and Menopause: Empower Your Health Journey)
- Healing with scent and simple daily rituals
- Seasonal food that nourishes without overwhelm
- Mindful travel and slower, more meaningful experiences
- Caring for family and pets through life’s transitions
What may feel different is the rhythm. I’ll be sharing fewer posts each week, but each one will be written with care — meant to be read slowly, saved for later, or revisited when you need it.
This year isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing what matters.
This gentle welcome to 2026 reflects the direction Prime Mon Ami is taking — slower, more intentional, and rooted in everyday rituals that support real life.
How I’m Approaching This Season Differently
Over the years, I’ve learned that not every season of life calls for the same pace. Some seasons invite expansion and energy, while others ask for patience, steadiness, and trust. As I move into this welcome to 2026, I’m choosing to honor the season I’m in rather than push against it.
That means planning thoughtfully without over-planning, staying open to change instead of trying to control every outcome, and allowing room for rest alongside progress. With a move ahead, milestones unfolding for my kids, and so much in transition, I’m learning that calm consistency matters more than perfect timing.
This approach is shaping not only how I live day to day, but also how I write, share, and show up here. Prime Mon Ami will continue to reflect a way of living that values presence over pressure and meaning over momentum.
What to Take With You Into the Year
I hope Prime Mon Ami continues to feel like a place you can come to exhale — a space that supports your life rather than adds noise to it. Read what resonates, skip what doesn’t, and return whenever you need a moment of calm or inspiration.
We don’t need to have everything figured out to move forward thoughtfully. Sometimes, the most meaningful progress comes from taking the next small step with intention. Practices like mindfulness and intentional reflection have long been shown to support emotional well-being, especially during periods of transition.
I’m truly grateful you’re here, and I’m looking forward to stepping into this year together.
With warmth,
Mariya
